Challenge: Translate abstract medical information into comprehensible illustrations to assist Herlev University Hospital in communicating complexities of Parkinson's disease treatment to patients.
Solution: Working in close collaboration with local doctors, using speed drawing animation, we created this small film, visualizing scenes from everyday life with Parkinson's to help patients become aware of monitoring their symptoms for improved treatments.
Challenge: To brand “Mobile Repair”, a Danish mobilephone repair store, in a way that made them stand out and create buzz around them.
Solution: Instead of the classic company profile video, we made this small music video playing on the “mad professor i his laboratory” theme, branding Mobile Repair as repair-experts in a fun and playful way. The video was shot on location, with simple lighting, using the store staff and friends as actors. The video received around 50,000 plays on YouTube and was a huge success for the store.
Challenge: The Swedish medical university Karolinska Institutet was about to launch an online video course in global health. The course was to reach thousands of participants globally. We Add Motion was hired to add animations to their video.
Solution: Because of the international audience, the characters and the universe was made generic. Working on a limited budget we opted for stick figure animations. This allowed us, with simple means, to create clear and comprehensible visuals that could easily be animated and make the abstract story tangible.
Challenge: A Danish political party needed campaign videos to be shown in public busses. The campaign had three political themes: public transportation, hospitals, and psychiatric care. One of the challenges was that the video adds had to work without sound.
Solution: Three short video montages showing faces of real people from everyday life up close within each theme. Focus on authenticity and connectedness with real people and real life combining this with the party’s political slogans. See the rest of the campaign videos here.
